World AIDS Day

Twenty-six million people have fallen victims to the HIV since its discovery in 1981. That is the equivalent of the combined populations of New York City, Moscow and Seoul.

We are at the cusp of 2010 and this plague is showing no signs of slowing down. In the last 2 years this world pandemic claimed over 4 million lives, and 4 millions new infections have been reported. Today 33 and half a million people are infected with HIV, equivalent to the population of Canada.
